    Hello,

I'm trying to upgrade the wifi adapter on my old laptop HP DV6-2050ES but it has BIOS whitelist so when I install the new card, I get the 104 unsupported hardware error.

    EDIT

I've found an old BIOS flash .exe, but it's version F.13 and I have F.15 installed. Is it possible to downgrade the BIOS? Or should I find a way to backup the existing file?

I've managed to backup the existing BIOS with InsydeFlash.
Is it possible to remove the whitelist from it and activate all the hidden options?

WiFi device is Qualcomm Atheros 9285
