    1. Turn on the laptop and you will see a picture that shows the password screen.
    2. Press 3 times a wrong Password
    3. After this in your screen will appear the picture of service tag (system number)

    Thank you for your quick reply. Your service worked just as advertised. Unfortunately for me I am now faced with the HDD password (XPS 12 9Q33, 541TF12) HDD Serial # 543E0460. My guess is this password is different from the BIOS password and will require a separate service.

    This is my information for dell xps 12 9Q33
