    Everything is the same as before, there are no serial numbers, the operating system key, the product name are also deleted. Again, the biggest problem is that the LAN card and RGB backlight on the keyboard do not work.

    I don't think the region has anything to do with me. By comparing the two files (the original and the modified) by position 580100 the information is located for Lenovo Certificate and other data that have been deleted in the modified

    By position 5804C8 – Microsoft and others, check my thesis.

    Only later it turned out that the combinations for changing the keyboard backlight Fn+Space, turning off the microphone Fn+ F4, and the key for nerve sense Y but did not work. However, if this can be corrected, I will be infinitely grateful!

    So I finally got my ch341a reader and managed to dump the bios.
    Hopefully this is right.

    Let me know if I missed or messed anything up.

    I just need the password removed.

    I thought it looked a bit too small. Sorry about that.

    There was one other chip right next to it, so I tried that one now.
    It's only 8MB though, so if it's not this one either, I'm gonna need to screw open some covers.

    Ok, now I've read > verified > saved the bios with NeoProgrammer.
    It's an Lenovo Legion Y520-15IKBM. Not sure what you mean by machine type, but hopefully you'll find all info in this image;
