Hello, this board powers on, but the power led turns back off after a few seconds. A usb flash drive gets power if I hold down Fn-Esc, plug in ac power and press the power button for a second while continuing to hold Fn-Esc, however after a few seconds the board still turns off. This may be a power issue rather than a BIOS issue, although my initial investigation shows that 5V and 3.3V lines seem to be working in most places and the board looks clean. Maybe I'm doing something wrong with the BIOS recovery? I've identified that it's an Insyde BIOS, however Andy's tool did not recommend a particular filename. On an HP that I ended up successfully recovering I recall that once the bios recovery mode was entered, the system remained on rather than turning back off even when the usb drive was incorrectly prepped. I have not discovered a way to keep this Acer on for longer than a few seconds yet. There is nothing critical about the repair though, the hardware was donated to our shop, so I've been checking it out and probing around in my spare time. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
