How to solve charging problems with ASUS Eee PC X101CH,

When the adapter is connected the indicator shows that the battery is being charged, while in reality it is not.

First, launch the notebook, then Battery Charger IC determines the power adapter and battery, but the rate of charge is at the level of 61 mW. This is a typical malfunction of the charging system. You need to replace the current-measuring resistors R025 (2 pieces), each resistor is of 0.25 ohms.

Below is a diagram of the chip documentation for ISL 6251 (taken from the official site which is in public domain www.intersil.com), the selected sections are the current-measuring resistors.

The first one is used by Battery Charger IC ISL6251 to determine if the adapter is connected.

The second one determines the battery.

If their values are not correct, the Battery Charger IC can not determine the speed with which it needs to charge the battery.

After the replacement, the battery started charging normally
